Sing for Hope, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, 145 Brooklyn Avenue, Brooklyn, NYC (June 6-24, 2019)  Commission of public art to design and paint an upright piano, as part of the world's largest public art event. Fifty pianos were placed outdoors, throughout the five boroughs of New York City, to be enjoyed by the public. At the end of the summer, each piano will find a permanent home in a space where it will serve the public. Sousa's piano is now housed in the public school P.S. 21, in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn.

The Doors of Make Room Auction, National Museum of Women, Washington, DC (Nov. 15th, 2018) Exhibition and auction of painted fiberglass doors to support the work of Make Room, the nation's leading non-profit organization working to address the rental housing crisis in America.

Fall Seasonal Installation, Torpedo Factory Art Center, Alexandria, VA (Oct. 5–Nov. 14, 2018)       Exhibition in a group show, featuring the artist designed and painted door sculptures, commissioned by Make Room, Inc.; doors were previously exhibited as public art installations throughout the DC area, in an effort to raise awareness about the rental housing crisis in America.

The Doors of Make Room Public Art Installation, Ben’s Chili Bowl 1213 U Street NW, Washington DC (September 13-28, 2018) Exhibition of a public art, commission awarded by Make Room, the nation's leading nonprofit organization working to address the rental housing crisis in America. Chosen as one of eleven artists commissioned to paint a distinctive fiberglass door to be exhibited as part of a public art project during National Month for Renters. The completed works were displayed throughout the nation's capital to raise awareness about the rental housing crisis. The eleven doors represented the million households living one paycheck away from losing their home.
